Indeed, innovative non-developers have great ideas and this tool empowers them to easily build UIs with my APIApps for a backend.
But with ease of use comes limitations - inevitably many PowerApps will need functionality that the PowerApps designer cannot handle. At this point the app needs to be exported and extended using Visual studio or other dev tools.
With Siena this was somewhat available by cracking the .appx.
We need this or better for PowerApps.31 votes
We hear you. We are beginning to look at the ways that a PowerApp can be extended (for example, custom controls) and exported (for example, to visual studio). We are still (and will be for a little while longer) focused on enabling non-developers to create PowerApps.
We are loyal Microsoft users but it is a surprise for us to find out that PowerApp does not support Windows phone. Please update so that we can use PowerApps in Windows phones..
Thanks for the feedback Andrew. The ability to run PowerApps on Windows phones is on our backlog.
Thanks for the clarification. This feature is tracked on our backlog.
Make non work/school accounts usable with powerapps - many companys won't look at this unless we justify11 votes
Thanks for your feedback. We will look at enabling non work/school accounts for PowerApps.
Provide some sort of cache to allow offline input and let it sync afterwards.10 votes
Offline support is something we are looking at. It would be helpful if we had scenarios where this facility is needed, where a live connection is impractical. We can imagine all kinds of them, but we’d prefer to have real world examples. Thanks!
If Third party's Salesforce is supported, Access Web Apps SQL Azure Database shall be added to the Logic Flow Connections / Data sources so when I create a record in a table there, I should be able to trigger in PowerApps Logic Flow.4 votes
Hi Yahya, thank you for the feedback. We will definitely consider this for an upcoming release.
I want to use the app of PowerApps by web browser like Excel online, OneNote online at PowerApps non-installed environment, kiosk - download disable environment.12 votes
Thanks for your feedback. We will consider adding support for web browser for PowerApps.
Right now you can open one PowerApp in view mode while another app is opened up in edit-mode. That's great for editing and testing your app.
Yet if you developed more than one app, only one app can be run at a given time. Since apps can be pinned, it would be great to be able to open more than one PowerApp at a time.
The ability to open multiple windows of PowerApps also lets you copy paste from one app to another more efficiently.3 votes
OK, so at the moment it doesn't look like you can use existing Connections (at least not in the Template I tried), but assuming that's a bug...
When I choose "next action", filter the available actions, based on the Connections I already have defined, so that I don't have to wade through lots of actions that I can't use. Or perhaps display the ones I have Connections for, first.1 vote
This is a great idea and we are considering it for our next release. Thanks for your feedback.
